A Unique City Tour Through Cologne
The journey begins at Cologne Cathedral and takes you through the charming alleys of the old town, surrounded by traditional Cologne townhouses. Pass by impressive Romanesque churches and historic breweries on your way to the architecturally stunning Rheinauhafen district. This vibrant area seamlessly blends historic buildings with modern designs like the iconic crane houses.
Our stop is located right by the Chocolate Museum – the centerpiece of this district. Once Cologne’s harbor, the Rheinauhafen now offers a variety of delightful cafés and restaurants with both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. Explore the Chocolate Museum, the German Sport and Olympic Museum, or one of the many galleries to make your visit to this district truly memorable. With our round-trip ticket, you can spend the entire day in Rheinauhafen and then return to the starting point at your leisure.
The Return Journey: More Cologne Highlights
On the way back, you’ll pass more of Cologne’s iconic landmarks, including the Gürzenich, the city’s former market hall. Today, the Gürzenich is a central venue for Cologne’s famous carnival celebrations – a tradition as integral to the city as the Rhine and the Cathedral. The journey continues through Heumarkt before returning to Cologne Cathedral, where your unforgettable tour concludes.

Walkers and wheelchairs
Please note that our train can accommodate a maximum of one wheelchair per ride, and space for rollators is limited. During peak times, there may be restrictions on their transport.
Dogs
small dogs (size of a cat) are free of charge if they travel on the pet owners lap. Larger well behaving dogs are permitted and will be priced like a child.

Guests of our Mini-train receive a 50% discount on the entrance ticket for the fragrance museum “Farina Duftmuseum“ when showing the Mini train ticket plus 10% off on in-store purchases at the „Farina Duftmuseum“ store.
